You are, Val. :) The kid’s pretty much attached to you as I can see it. Well at least you now know what to get him for his birthday and Christmas. I saw this The Avengers action figures in the mall here. Wow, they’re really pretty cool. That’s really cute, not gonna lie! Yeah, the mess is great but the clean up was horrible, especially when your “enemies” decided to lock themselves in your room and let you do all the cleaning.
I’m sure you are, too :) Stacey and Stevie were probably so happy to see you. It can’t be easy on them, and I’m sure you made them really happy. Mhm. His birthday is a few days after Christmas so I’ll probably end up blowing a bunch of money on anything involving Marvel. I really miss him. My cousin would get upset if I tried to clean up. He always said his parents wouldn’t mind and they would clean up when they got back. Left me feeling bad all the time.
You’re like a child magnet. Or you’re just an awesome babysitter. Either way, at least you’re good with kids. :) Most of the time, I end up with mini fights with them. A while ago, my mom scolded me for initiating the pillow fight when we woke up. We kind of ripped open all our pillows. Even my brothers’. But it was really fun. No regrets at all.
I honestly don’t think I am. He’s just the perfect kid. He’s in love with superheroes, so it makes me job a lot easier. We’d usually just watch a few hours of TV and then pop in a Marvel movie. He would fall asleep and then beg his parents to ask me to come back again. Pillow fights are the best! I just love making messes.
Thanks! :) Don’t get me wrong, I love these kiddos so much and the safety of my stuff is just an added perk. Wow, what an energetic child. Do you wrestle back to him or let him use you as a human punching bag?
No problem! Oh, I know. Just joking around. My cousin is really clingy and tends to throw stuff around if I try to leave. Even if it’s just to get something out of my purse. He gets angry and calls me a chicken if I don’t fight back, so I kind of have to. I’m really careful with him though, but he’s pretty tough. He says I could be Black Widow.
I might go and visit her on vacation. And maybe you can give me a tour around? :) Well, last time I said no to them, I found my room filled with torn pages from my books. It was horrible so I only yes to them since then. Stacy’s 8 and Stevie’s 9. Annoying little blokes, they are, but I love them to death.
Sure, I’d love to. You should’ve just agreed to it. Now you seem less sweet since you’re basically saying you’re only doing it so they don’t ruin your stuff :P I know how kids can be. I have a little cousin back home who’s 8. Whenever I would babysit him, he would be a complete angel and listen to everything I said, he just always wanted to ‘wrestle’ and he’d never run out of energy.
Well, it’s pretty nice. Most of the time, anyway. Wow, I’ve always wanted to go to Canada. In Manitoba, to be exact. One of my friends are from there and they say it’s pretty cool there. They really are. Not to say pretty interesting, too. Well, I’m watching Baby’s Day Out with Stacy and Stevie. Requested by the kids, so can’t say no. :)
Canada’s pretty cool. I like it here though, it’s really different. I went to Manitoba once to visit relatives, it was nice. Aw, that’s sweet. You seem like a great big brother. How old are they?
It really is. I missed my younger siblings and of course my parents. I’m from Tennessee How about you? Well, that’s gotta change now, right? I mean, people here are mostly fun to talk with. :) What are you doing?
It must be nice having siblings, I’m an only child. I’m from Canada. A small town in Ontario, to be more specific. I agree, everyone here seems pretty friendly. I’m not doing too much right now. Just relaxing in my dorm. You?
Preparing for my flight back to Brighton. I went home for the weekend. And yeah, sorry, my bad. I’m Xavier. Nice to meet you, Valerie.
Home… Sounds fun. Where are you from? And don’t apologize. I haven’t exactly been super social since I got here. It’s nice to meet you too, Xavier.
Hello there. How are you? :)
I’m okay, I guess. You? I don’t think we’ve met yet. I’m Valerie.
I’m actually more upset than I thought I’d be over missing Thanksgiving back home..
